But who knows where or when?
I'm really, really almost done Roxana. Since I've read the book before, I know what happens and as Defoe leaves the worst to last, I'm not really looking forward to the end. It's awful or awe-full. It's a great book really because Roxana's pride and vanity (which she constantly points out to us will be her undoing) is attractive and irresistable. Let's face it: we all want to dance in the Turkish dress.
Perhaps my undoing is that I am already thinking about what I will read next.
